Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and best practise insight into planning and optimising effective digital and social media campaigns
  • Continually build knowledge of new digital ad formats, Ad serving technology and digital media ecosystem - be the digital media subject matter expert for the agency
  • Support wider media, strategy, creative and client services teams in delivering, executing, analysing, reporting and optimising digital media, content led and social media campaigns
  • Planning, developing and deploying digital & social media campaigns
  • Researching media / audiences.
  • Negotiating placement, packages and pricing
  • Defining KPIs, optimising and reporting on campaign performance
  • Presenting media plans, modelling forecast results and defining key performance indicators
  • Confirming media specifications and ensuring assets are supplied to media owners/publisher accurately and on a timely basis
  • Financial admin: raising purchase orders to suppliers, setting up accounts and processing invoices.
  • Ensuring all time spent on client and internal media activities are recorded and charged to clients as appropriate 
  • Maintain and grow digital media spend under Purple management and the number of clients who buy this service from Purple
  • Report on agency media commercial performance, at sales and margin level
  • Support maintenance of agency Google Partner status and identify other relevant certifications
  • Develop and maintain currency of knowledge of latest trends in digital and social media and its use in specialised / specifically regulated markets

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Ability to prepare and present media plans and present results and reports effectively to both internal and external client stakeholders
  • Ability to forecast campaign performance accurately, pro-actively optimise campaigns to deliver against both client and Purple commercial objectives.
  • Ability to meet agreed deadlines and timescales.
  • Adherence to supplier / scheduling / agency SOP processes and best practise digital media methods
  • Confident presenter both to internal and external audiences
  • Google Analytics and AdWords certified (ideally BluePrint)
  • Able to independently undertake keyword and digital media research in order to make appropriate client digital and social media recommendations.
  • Ability to deploy and report on digital media campaigns using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, AdWords and other social and programmatic platforms.
  • Collaborate with clients and client services to develop appropriate media / content solution for each client campaign
